Working Process of 1500 LPH FRP RO Plant
1. Raw Water Inlet
Raw water is supplied from borewell, tank, or pipeline.
A raw water pump pushes it into the plant.
2. Pre-Treatment Stage
Sand/Multigrade Filter → Removes dust, mud, rust, and suspended particles.
Activated Carbon Filter → Removes chlorine, bad taste, odor, and organic matter.
Micron Cartridge Filter (5–10 micron) → Removes fine particles and protects the RO membranes.
3. Dosing System (if required)
Antiscalant Dosing → Prevents scaling on membranes.
Chlorine Dosing / Dechlorination → For bacteria control and membrane safety.
4. High Pressure Pump (HPP)
Provides pressure (8–14 bar depending on design) to push water into RO membranes.
5. RO Membranes (Main Purification Stage)
Semi-permeable membranes remove:
Dissolved salts (TDS)
Hardness
Fluoride, Nitrate, Heavy metals
Bacteria & Viruses
Two streams are produced:
Permeate Water (Product Water) → Pure water ~1500 LPH.
Reject Water (Brine Water) → High TDS water discharged out.
